Erik Norgaard

Erik Norgaard is an Associate Partner in Odgers Berndtson's Brussels office focusing on assignments in the international public sector in which he has acquired exceptional experience and knowledge of the special conditions and requirements for the recruitment of its top-level executives.

Previously, he worked as a Senior Advisor to Mercuri Urval for 10 years, serving the European Commission, EU agencies and many other international organisations. He also worked as an advisor on bilateral and multilateral projects preparing Central and Eastern European countries for accession to the EU.

Before that, he spent 18 years managing development projects in Africa and the Middle East, followed by 16 years as president of engineering companies in the USA and the Pacific Region.

A Danish national, Erik is fluent in 3 languages, holds an M.Sc. from Denmark Technical University and a number of management qualifications.
